Happy New Year to you all!
You would think after a break a holiday would be the last thing on my mind. However I am heading to Bali in March, for work, to photograph a wedding. I have been wasting a far bit of time lately searching for the perfect villa. After seeing some shot on a good friends blog Follow Studio of a villa I have stayed at before, got me thinking and searching.
The one above is my top contender so far! What do you think??

I could have guessed..... Paris, is where this design duo met and created their brand Polder. I stumbled upon the most beautiful childrens clothing & accessories in a store in Manly yesterday, to later find them online. Childrens collection April Showers by Polder is so luxurious! From little girls leggings with gold thread stitched through them, to little embroidered puffy vests for winter and little shoulder bags in the shape of a bird to keep your coins safe. I really don't think the photos show the true quality and feel of these pieces but I just love how they have put the lookbook together. Enjoy a look and start saving, these pieces are just divine! (Oh and the music on there site is also rather soothing.)

I just went back and did my first yoga class in way way too long. I feel I am inspired again to take out the time to put back into my body what it deserves. Too often I take it for granted but feeding it with the wrong things and not
stretching and using it to its full potential inside and out.

I came across this totally thoughtful little shop for a truly worthy cause.
One thousand wishes the aim of the project is to raise funds for the relief effort in Japan, while sending a message of hope, peace, love and recovery to the people affected by this devastating earthquake and tsunami.
How sweet is that! Some of the things I loved are sold out, but plenty of other sweet things and if you do handmade you can also donate your things to sell!!!

I absolutely adore the work of Rob Ryan. I was in New York a couple of years ago and was lucky enough to see his pop up store and exhibition. I filled a bag full of goodies, one of which was a tea towel of the beautiful print above. I am yet to frame it, but I think it is the sweetest thing ever.

Something I have in my bookmarks, and have been oogling over for way-way to long is label Mociun.
It is their jewelery in particular that I absolutely LOVE. I have had my eye on a ring for sometime and pop on every now and then to gaze at it on my screen. I was pleasantly suprised this morning as they have a bunch of new things to add to my wishlist. I am partial to turqouise but many other amazing things on their website and online store!

Recently I was lucky enough to see Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros live. They were truly amazing and captivating. I could not take my eyes of each eccentric member of this band. Their song 'Home', is to me the ultimate love song. Later I found out that Edward and his on stage partner, a gorgeous smiley little brunette are also off stage partners. That to me makes this song even sweeter when you see them live!! so sweet. If you haven't listened to this song you must!!!

This week is wedding week for me! On sunday my dear friend Belinda who is a very talented chef (I have posted about before) was proposed to and presented with a beautiful 1930s diamond ring. Today my life long friend Sami is marrying the man of her dreams in a beautiful beach wedding in Palm Beach, Sydney. Tomorrow I will be behind the lense to capture friends Katie and Josh as they say their vows, and tomorrow night I will attend a post wedding celebration of friends who eloped in New Zealand last weekend! wow am I feeling the love this weekend! Wishing you all a lifetime of hopes and dreams realised!

I have found a new blog that I think can only be a good one to visit more often! Its called Inspiration for Wellbeing. I used to have a little note with this heading (wellbeing) stuck on my mirror that I used to look at everyday. I pulled it out of an old esprit catalogue. It said things like Laugh everyday, its good for you. Drink more water. Smile. Got little ones to shop for christmas? My first stop would be Tiny People. Whether or not you can make it to either of their stores is sort of irrelevant. Luckily they have a great online store too. If you do want to visit a store maybe take a holiday to Byron Bay or head north to Kirra just past the NSW/QLD border. Both of the stores are just divine, along with the clothing, toys and other goodies for Tiny People inside.

But here in Sydney Australia our christmas is a summer wonderland.... of warmth, sun, sand and seafood lunches. I love christmas in Australia. I think it is the most amazing idea. They pride themselves on being a beautiful environment for parents and children to engage and connect.
