FACTORY 20
I stumbled across this website of the amazing place known as Factory 20 . I have always been fascinated by old wares. I am not sure why, but I think it is something about the life behind each piece. They have their own a past , unbeknown to me . I also think that things these days are made with such a short life, and that people dispose of things faster and want newer more up to date models, this can't be good for our environment. For me, give me an old table, chair, spoon or antique piece of jewellery over something new any day. I would love all these things, but the site is full of treasures!!!

PITTWATER
Isn't this shoot just beautiful of Natasha collection featuring the New Zealand beauty Zippora Seven. It may have something to do with the location being close to home. I have spent lots of time on my Dad's yacht sailing around Pittwater since I was a child. Jumping off jettys, swimming, fishing and twilight yacht races. The shoot is a reminder of the paradise we live it, it make me feel lucky.

A SWEET NEW YEAR
Whilst scrolling over notebook doodles, I couldn't help but notice her cute new years resolution doodle, how pretty. But more to the point I adore what she wrote. I love that the things weren't things like exercise more, quit smoking, save money, but personal attributes that she wishes to improve on. I love this and if it is not to late to add some things to my new years resolution I will.

six
Wow! How lovely, Ayla( I think) from La La , tagged me as one of her starry-eyed bloggers. Thank you!
So to carry on this tradition I will tag 6 of my own favourite bloggers, and share with you 6 things that make me happy.
So I will start here..... music.
1. Music makes your heart sing. I love this image of Laura marling.
2. This boy. He is the son of a dear friend of mine. He never fails to bring a smile to my face. I met him when he was just hours old, and have spend countless hours enjoying his company. Always a joy to be around. This photo I took only a little while back, we were playing hopscotch.
3. The colour Aqua. For some reason I have alway been attracted to it. Whether it be a dress, an old wall with paint peeling of it, a turquoise ring, or these old milk bottles I have on my window sill. The colour makes me happy.
4. serendipity
5. Being in the company of someone I love.
6. a swim in the ocean.
For my 6 starry-eyed bloggers

KNOCK KNOCK WHO'S HOME
I hadn't visited the Selby for a while, so was delighted to find a whole lot of new insights into peoples homes. Love the images above.
A hammock. Everyone loves a hammock. This photo captures the perfect use for one, a sunny afternoon with a loved one.
A room in the roof. I love this high set roof and little hidden room above.
Oooh I would love to browse through this wardrobe, it looks like it is full of fun, frivolity and colour!
Those doors, I just love them, thats it.

A NEW YEAR
I looked and looked for an image for my first post of 2009, and decided not to post an image. I always have a sense of calm and happiness at the beginning of a year. Even thought it is just another day, it seems to inspire me to re-think and evaluate what I want in life. Also makes me ponder on what the year ahead will hold, what I want the year to bring, cause after all a lot of it is up to me! So here's to new beginnings, new ways, new dreams, fresh starts, new inspiration for all of our lives. May 2009 bring you all you deserve.
