This week is wedding week for me! On sunday my dear friend Belindawho is a very talented chef (I have posted about before) was proposed to and presented with a beautiful 1930s diamond ring. Today my life long friend Sami is marrying the man of her dreams in a beautiful beach wedding in Palm Beach, Sydney. Tomorrow I will be behind the lense to capture friends Katie and Josh as they say their vows, and tomorrow night I will attend a post wedding celebration of friends who eloped in New Zealand last weekend! wow am I feeling the love this weekend! Wishing you all a lifetime of hopes and dreams realised!
I am in the market to bring some colour into my bedroom for summer. I just stumbled across Niki Jones and her amazing store. Loving these vintage quilts made from vintage saris..... just heavenly. This would be my pick!
sol bellow has just launched their online store! Now that summer is just around the corner, time for some swimsuit wardrobe shopping at this beautiful Australian made swimwear label. I might be a little biased....... visit the shop here to see for yourself.
Just wanted to send a little blog love. I am still here, just have lots of other things on the go at the moment. Will be posting more very soon. Found this image over at 100Layer Cake. I have been asked by a dear friend of mine to style her wedding so wedding blogs are my no 1 stop for inspiration.
I dream one day of having a nice open, light filled home just like this. I feel lucky to live in Australia, we have the most beautiful climate with plenty of sunshine to filter through open plan living. image via a blog with a very fitting name Dreamhouse
This honey caught my eye at Eat Drink Chic and it is from an almost local/neighbour supplier calledJ.Friend and Co in New Zealand. They have an amazing array of them too. Yum, honey on toast with a cup of tea in winter is the best.
At the moment this album is going round and round on my ipod.... I just love Jez Mead's Sucker.... All the songs are amazing but track one and four probably get the most plays for me. Check out his amazing Kiss cover 'I was made for loving you' here
It is the last week of summer here in Australia and Autumn is almost upon us. I wonder if I bought this dress, would I feel a bit better about Winter being after Autumn? From Zimmermann's Fragment Autumn Winter
If I could be shopping in one place right now anywhere in the world Bloomingville would be a high contender. I adore, and want, almost everything in each of these shots. From the amazing tin embossed file, to the simple wooden desk, pink bamboo lantern, giant glass milk jug vase...... shall I go on? Perhaps not... or this post would be rather long.
These are two of my favourite cookbooks,Falling Cloudberries andApples for JamBoth by Tessa Kiros. From the covers, to the beautiful photography and the family stories and recipes, its all just so yummy!
Its the weekend.... tomorrow that is. Grey skies are forecast here. But I think it will be a nice change from the summer heat and force me to stay inside and get productive. So for me, this weekend, grey skies are welcome.
I have found a new blog that I think can only be a good one to visit more often! Its called Inspiration for Wellbeing. I used to have a little note with this heading (wellbeing) stuck on my mirror that I used to look at everyday. I pulled it out of an old esprit catalogue. It said things like Laugh everyday, its good for you. Drink more water. Smile. Go for more walks outside, breath fresh air.... it had some great simple acts of daily life that all contribute to our wellbeing. Visit this blog here
